Everything You Need to Know

Leaving your pet with a stranger is never an easy decision, and I’m sure you have a lot of questions about how it works. I’ve compiled some of the most common questions into the list below. If you want further information, just get in touch.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?

We use the Relax Collection from Melanie Newman Salon Essentials which has been formulated with a blend of Lavender, Geranium and Bergamot,

  • Strengthen the coat and skin

We can provide a medicated shampoo for an extra cost if requested or if your dog has a specific shampoo that you would like us to use we welcome you to provide it to us beforehand.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Grooming times can vary a lot depending on your dogs temperament, coat condition, size and the service we are doing for you. You can expect a full groom to take between 45 minutes to 2 hours. If your dog needs extra time and care there may be surcharges that apply but we will always discuss this with you first.

DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ANXIOUS DOGS?

Yes! I have experience grooming dogs who are anxious or have other behavioral difficulties. I am also a certified in dog training and behaviour. If you are worried about your anxious dog please give us a call and we can assess how we may best help them.

DO YOU TAKE CARD PAYMENTS

Yes, Mudpuppy. takes cash and card payments. We accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

How does it work when you get here?

We will park our van on your driveway or other accessible space near your home. Our van requires access to a power point and a garden tap. Once we are all set up we will meet your dog and go over the finer details of what you would like. From there you can relax at home and put your feet up. We will do the rest of the work for you and let you know when we are all done.
